About Us

          I started CSM Gecko as a business in April 2009. CSM Gecko got started when I purchased 3 Leopard Geckos from a pet store in the summer of 2008 as family pets for myself, Cory, my wife, Stephanie, and our daughter, Mea. It turned out these lizards all had crypto from being mass produced for quantity instead of quality. It took quite a lot research on leopard geckos to find out exactly what was wrong with them. Upon diagnosing crypto, I returned the leos and decided to go through Big Apple Herp where I bought my first Trio, 2 females and a male. I decided that breeding leopard geckos would be a fun and rewarding hobby to do, all at the same time as becoming an asset to the reptile world.

           I have been caring and handling reptiles since I was a young kid because my mom was allergic to anything with fur. I have owned many various lizards, snakes, turtles and frogs. So my love for these animals is very deep rooted. As I got older I was able to own other types of animals such as sugar gliders, a hedgehog, chinchillas, birds and cats. But I always had a reptile or 2 in my collection. Upon joining the Navy in 2004, I didn't have much time for any animals until now.

           I opened CSM Gecko for business in April with many intentions in mind. Mainly to provide the reptile community with quality leopard gecko morphs in all price ranges. I decided to start CSM Gecko with my dream of wanting to own my own business and my love for reptiles. I also decided to sell supplies from Zoo Med, Zilla and Pet Tech Products to make CSM Gecko a one stop shopping with competitive prices. Since opening I have run into a few bumps but not too many and have taken CSM Gecko one step further, customization. I couldn't stand when I can't find a product that I know is out, so I have added the feature that if you want it and I can get my hands on it then you can have it. I use my business standing to get in with the distributors for Zoo Med, Zilla, and Pet Tech which has opened the doors to being able to almost any product they make. I also have been designing my own line of products and supplies, which are still in the test phase but hopefully will be put up for sale at the start of 2010.

      Customer service and satisfaction is one of the main priorities at CSM Gecko, so if you have any questions regarding leopard geckos or supplies, please feel free to ask and if I don't know the answer then I will do everything to find it. Also I back all the products that I offer and most likely use them myself. I understand that purchasing a leopard gecko online can be a little unnerving, so I stand behind all my animals as well and will help how ever I can before the purchase, during the purchase, and after the purchase to make sure every customer gets exactly what they are looking for.

Back Up and Running

I am back up and running, well a little. I have some supplies which will start growing soon. I also have the ability to order whatever is needed. I do have a few babies that are almost ready to go and will be posted in a few days.

CSM Gecko Up and Running Update

As always it is taking longer than expected to get up and running. I am almost done setting up my new room and house for that matter. I should be contacting my distributors shortly and start ordering supplies. I have had a couple hatchlings but with the move things aren't going very good in that department. Wasn't expecting it to though. So if you need anything please let me know and I will do anything to help you.
   Other than that I am planning on be up and running completely within the next month or so.

Update for 2010!

April 04, 2010

Things have started off slow this year with relocating to Reno. Had issues with my new incubator but have sorted that out now. The females started laying eggs late, I am guessing due to the change involved with moving.

But everything still seems to be on track for getting everything up and running for around the summer time. But if you have any questions or need any supplies until the summer just let me know and I am sure I can help you out.
